'I was the typical 30 something city worker. Long hours, little time with the family,
stressful situations at work, not enough time to go to the gym and smoking 10-20
a day.
I had been smoking for over 15 years, and with the arrival of my third son I really
needed to kick the habit (I had tried and failed on the birth of number 1 and 2).
My resting heart rate was also becoming an issues (+ 70) so I wanted to try
something different.
I had two simple sessions. Ian helped me understand why I had wanted to smoke,
and how simple it was to simply fill the gaps left by cigarettes with more beneficial
past-times. The sessions were extremely relaxed, and I have not only given up,
but I am absolutely confident that I will never want to smoke again..
Since September 2009, I have reduced my resting heart rate to sub 50, became
more productive at work (through not nipping out during the day), my clothes stop
stinking of smoke and at last I feel I can act as a role model to my kids'
